Dreams es una serie construida desde la suspensión. Ambientada en la costa de Valeria del Mar durante el año 2020, las imágenes no describen un lugar: lo evocan. El paisaje costero se presenta despojado de su función recreativa para transformarse en un territorio mental, incierto, donde las figuras humanas —muchas veces irreconocibles— se diluyen en un horizonte disonante.
La costa funciona aquí como un espacio onírico. No es destino ni escenario, sino frontera: entre vigilia y sueño, entre lo real y aquellos recuerdos que se desvanecen en la memoria. El límite entre el cuerpo y el entorno se vuelve difuso; las presencias parecen flotar más que habitar el espacio.
La serie se sumerge en una quietud extraña, una forma de aislamiento que no remite al vacío, sino a la rememoración. El mar insiste, repetitivo y constante, mientras los cuerpos se desplazan siguiendo una lógica que responde más al sueño que a la voluntad consciente.
Desde una mirada onírica, Dreams no documenta la costa: la recuerda. Las imágenes operan como fragmentos de un estado mental, donde la luz se vuelve imprecisa, los contrastes se atenúan y la escena pierde nitidez narrativa. Nada parece completamente presente; todo está a punto de desaparecer.
La serie propone una experiencia contemplativa. No hay clímax ni resolución, solo deriva. Como en los sueños, el sentido no se impone: permanece ambiguo. Es en esa ambigüedad donde las fotografías encuentran su potencia, invitando al espectador a habitar el mismo estado de suspensión desde la cual trataron de ser interpretadas.

The coastal landscape appears stripped of its recreational function, transformed into a mental, uncertain territory where human figures—often unrecognizable—dissolve into a dissonant horizon.
The coast functions here as an oneiric space. It is neither destination nor setting, but a frontier: between wakefulness and sleep, between the real and those memories that fade in the mind. The boundary between body and environment becomes blurred; presences seem to float rather than inhabit the space.
The series immerses itself in a strange stillness, a form of isolation that does not point to emptiness, but to remembrance. The sea insists, repetitive and constant, while bodies move according to a logic that responds more to dream than to conscious will.
